This year marks the 49th Anniversary of perennial classic-rock favorite, America. Founding members, Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell along with former band mate Dan Peek met in high school in London in the 1960’s and quickly harmonized their way to the top of the charts with their signature song, A Horse with No Name. And almost fifty years later, their still making music together thrilling audiences around the world with their timeless sound.

America’s journey found them exploring a wide variety of musical terrain. Their best know tunnes, which also include I Need You, Ventura Highway, Don’t Cross The River, Tin Man, Lonely People, and Sister Golden Hair dominated the 70’s and have become rock standards.

Their growth as singers, songwriters and and musicians has continued with smash hits like You Can Do Magic and numerous albums over the years. They’re now on their second and even third generation of fans all bearing testament to the group’s uplifting sound and message.

America has 6 Gold or Platinum albums with 11 Hits and have been inducted into the prestigious Vocal Group Hall of Fame.
